Zeynep is a professor at the MIT Sloan School of Management and author of The Good Jobs Solution. In this episode, we discuss the benefits of upgrading frontline jobs and why, despite the payoff, so few companies are pursuing this strategy. In order to turn dead end jobs into get-ahead jobs, Ton argues that we must abandon toxic assumptions about ‘low skill’ occupations and and create work environments that unleash everyone’s ingenuity.
